Esteemed chef Comert was born and raised in northern Kurdistan. There he had his formal culinary training before moving to the US in 2011. He has been a chef in restaurants in New York City, Atlanta, and Chicago before finally settling in Cincinnati. This is the 2nd restaurant Chef Comert has opened. The first being Haci Grill in West Chester. He has received excellent commendations for his cuisine at his first restaurant. He was even praised as the "eggplant whisperer" by Cincinnati Magazine for his baba ghanoush.
